How make a ring

Roll the clay

Make it 4 sizes (1 1/2 sizes in U.S) larger.Dampen the surface of the clay with water before you place it on the mandrel 

Dry it for 15 minutes

File at the seam on the outside and inside of the ring and make bevel the inside edge of the ring

Smooth it with 600 grit wet/dry sand paper

Make a cross

cut in the design

Dry and fire it for 5 minutes

Finish your piece with the stainless steel brush Dip piece into sulphurizing solution to make it black

Polish with silver choth and wenol.
